How to connect ChatGPT with Infyner MCP

Connect Infyner as a custom MCP app in ChatGPT (Developer Mode). Menus can change as OpenAI updates Apps — if a step differs, use the remote MCP URL below when possible. Login depends on what ChatGPT shows: env-style fields, or a browser window to Infyner’s /authorize page (same as Claude).

Step 1: Turn on Developer Mode

  1. Open Settings

    Click your profile picture → Settings.

  2. Enable Developer Mode

    Go to Apps → Advanced Settings (or similar) and toggle Developer Mode ON.

Step 2: Create the Infyner app

  1. Create App

    From Settings → Apps, click Create App.

  2. Fill in Infyner
    • Name — Infyner
    • Description — Indian company research — directors, charges, financials, GST, EPFO
    • MCP Server URL — https://www.infyner.com/api/mcp/infyner-research

    Acknowledge any “I trust this application” checkbox, then click Create.

  3. Auth fields (if shown)

    If ChatGPT asks for credentials: use your Infyner website email and password for deep data, or leave empty for free snapshot research.

Step 3: Connect

  1. Connect the app

    Click Connect on the Infyner app. If ChatGPT opens Infyner’s login page (/authorize), sign in with your www.infyner.com email and password there (same as Claude — do not put email in an OAuth Client ID field). If it only shows credential fields, use env-style email/password or leave empty for free snapshot.

  2. Confirm status

    Status should show as Connected / Ready.

Step 4: Use Infyner in chat

  1. Start a new chat

    Click the + or Apps icon in the message composer and enable Infyner for that chat.

  2. Ask with a CIN

    Example: “Using Infyner, show current directors and open charges for CIN U45200BR2006PTC012319.”

ChatGPT MCP surfaces change often. If custom MCP is unavailable on your plan or region, use Cursor or Claude — both are fully supported for Infyner today.
