The thing nobody admits

Indian KYC is a patchwork. Verify is the patch.

The CKYC system covers individuals decently. For corporates and LLPs, you need MCA21 for company status, the GSTN portal for tax compliance, the income-tax department's PAN verification, the EPFO portal for labour compliance, and the e-courts feed for litigation. Each one has its own login, response shape, throttling and downtime window. KYC teams stitch them together by hand, paste screenshots into a shared drive, and pretend the audit trail is good enough.

Infyner Verify is the patch. One console, one API, one audit trail. Every check goes back to a live primary source. Every report is downloadable as a PDF with source URLs intact. When the inspector asks how you knew the company existed, the answer is on the same page as the answer.

In plain words

What Infyner Verify actually does

Infyner Verify is a hosted business-verification console plus an API. Its job is to confirm whether an Indian company, LLP, partnership or sole proprietor is real, well-governed, currently filing with the relevant regulators, and free of obvious red flags. We answer that by pulling live data from MCA, GSTN, the income-tax department, EPFO, ESIC, IBBI, MSME Samadhaan and the e-courts feed - all in one round trip.

The console is built for KYC analysts, procurement officers and credit underwriters - the people who actually do the work. The API is built for fintech and SaaS engineering teams who need verification as a step inside a digital onboarding flow. Both share the same data engine and the same audit trail.

On top of the lookups, Verify computes a single 1-100 risk score with a transparent drilldown. The score is not a black box. Every input - company status, director disqualification, GST cancellation history, EPFO non-compliance, MSME delayed-payment cases, IBBI insolvency, MCA strike-off, e-courts litigation - is shown with its weight and contribution. Your reviewer can argue with the score, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Every verification you actually need

All the checks a credit officer asks for, in one console

Each check below is wired into a live primary source - not a stale data dump. The sources are listed on every report so your audit team knows exactly where each value came from.

CIN and LLPIN lookup

21-character CIN, 7-character LLPIN. Returns legal name, ROC, registration date, paid-up capital, status (active / strike-off / under liquidation), latest AGM date and the entire filings history from MCA21.

Director and DIN check

DIN status (active / disqualified / deactivated), full director timeline across every company they have served, signatory roles, DSC validity, and the disqualification log under Section 164(2).

GSTIN verification

GSTIN active or cancelled, registered taxpayer type (regular, composition, ISD, SEZ), legal and trade names, registration date, last GSTR-3B and GSTR-1 filing date, e-invoice eligibility - all live from GSTN.

PAN verification

PAN holder name, status (existing/cancelled), seeded with Aadhaar, linked GSTINs and director DINs - assembled from CBDT public APIs and reconciled against MCA records.

Bank account name match

IFSC + account number returns the registered account holder name. Useful for vendor onboarding, salary credit checks, and fraud prevention before disbursing any payment.

Risk score

Composite 1-100 score built from active flags, recent strike-off proceedings, defaulting director presence, GST cancellation history, MSME delayed-payment cases and EPFO non-compliance. Drilldown shows the eight inputs and their weights.

How it works

From a stranger's name to a verified profile in three clicks

Search by anything you have

Type the company name, CIN, GSTIN, PAN, director's name, or even a phone or email. The console runs a federated search across MCA, GSTN, CBDT and the people directory in parallel.

Pick the right entity

If two companies have the same name, you see both with their addresses and incorporation dates. Pick the one you mean. The full profile loads in under three seconds.

Read or share the report

On screen, or as a PDF, or via API straight into your KYC system. Every value carries a source link so your reviewer can trace it back to MCA21 or GSTN if they want to.

Who it is for

Whom we built this for

KYC team at a bank or NBFC
Onboarding 50-5,000 entities a month
You have a CKYC pipe but it is fragmentary - it does not show you director networks, related entities, or recent strike-off filings. Infyner Verify plugs into your case-management tool, returns a full profile in seconds, and writes the audit trail your inspector wants.
Procurement at a mid-cap
Onboarding new vendors, paying advances
Before you wire INR 25 lakh as advance to a new vendor, you want to know that the company exists, has filed AOC-4 in the last three years, has a clean GST history, and is not run by someone disqualified under Section 164. We give you that picture in 30 seconds.
Fintech onboarding flow
API integration into a digital lending product
Our REST endpoints replace your CKYC + bank-name-match + GSTIN-status + director-check chain with a single call. Per-call billing, sandbox keys, predictable SLAs, India-region storage.

Fifty free checks. Volume rates from the fifty-first.

Per-check pricing from INR 9 (GSTIN status) up to INR 49 (full risk profile with director network). Monthly subscriptions for KYC and procurement teams start at INR 4,999. Enterprise volumes (above 10,000 a month) are quoted on use.

Trust and security

Where the data comes from and how we keep it safe

MCA, GSTN, CBDT primary sources

Every record traces back to MCA21, GSTN, the income-tax department, EPFO, ESIC, IBBI, MSME Samadhaan and the supreme court e-courts case database. We do not buy or scrape from third-party data brokers.

DPDP Act and ISO 27001 aligned

PII handling follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. Internal controls are mapped to ISO 27001 - access logs, role separation, encryption keys rotated quarterly.

India-region only

Every byte of customer data sits in an India-region data centre. No cross-border replication. Your records do not leave the country, ever.

Per-query audit trail

Every verification call - who looked up what entity, when, on which case ID - is logged for seven years. Downloadable on demand for your auditor or your regulator.

FAQ

Common questions from KYC and procurement teams

Our MCA copy is refreshed nightly from the MCA21 Master Data download. Director details, DIN status and AGM dates lag the portal by less than 24 hours. For real-time confirmation we pass through to the live MCA endpoint - that response is the same one MCA21 itself shows.

Yes. The GSTN-published taxpayer status includes "return filing frequency" and the last GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing dates. We surface those directly. If a supplier has not filed for two consecutive months, we flag them under "GSTR-3A risk" so you know to follow up before claiming ITC.

The match runs through the licensed payment-aggregator API. Match scores come back as exact, partial or no-match. Partial matches show the differences (e.g. spelling of "Pvt" vs "Private") so you can take a judgement call. We never store the account number - we tokenise it before logging.

Eight inputs, weighted and capped at 100. They are: MCA company status, director disqualification under Section 164(2), GST cancellation history, EPFO non-compliance, MSME delayed-payment cases, IBBI insolvency proceedings, MCA strike-off notices, and litigation hits in the supreme-court / high-court e-courts feed. The drilldown shows every input value, weight and contribution.

Yes. Every console feature is also a REST endpoint. Token-based auth, sandbox keys for development, transparent per-call pricing, predictable latency SLA (95th percentile under 800 ms). The full developer reference lives at /products/api.

If you are tracking your own directors, the tool flags DSC expiry within the next 60 days and DIN KYC pending status as soon as the MCA opens the window each year. Useful so you do not get the auto-deactivation surprise.

Yes. Section 164(2) disqualification is published in the MCA disqualified-director list. We mirror that list and flag any director who is on it across every company they hold, including companies they served on previously - because the disqualification carries forward.

The first fifty verifications are free, no card needed. Beyond that, per-check pricing starts at INR 19 for a CIN lookup, INR 9 for a GSTIN check and INR 49 for a full risk profile. Volume tiers and annual contracts are quoted on use.

Yes. Upload a CSV of up to 50,000 rows in any one job. We return a ZIP with one PDF report per row plus a master CSV with the headline fields. Common use cases: vendor onboarding cleanup, lender annual review, KYC remediation.

India-region data centres only. AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, keys rotated quarterly. PII is tokenised before logging. We do not share data with third parties, do not sell aggregated benchmarks, and do not use customer data to train any model.

Terms used on this page

CIN
Company Identification Number - the 21-character ID that MCA assigns to every Indian company. Encodes listing status, industry, state, year, ownership and registration number.
DIN
Director Identification Number - 8-digit identifier every Indian director must have. DINs can be active, deactivated for missing KYC, or disqualified under Section 164(2).
LLPIN
The 7-character analogue of CIN for Limited Liability Partnerships.
Section 164(2)
The Companies Act provision that disqualifies a director when their company has not filed annual returns for three consecutive years. Disqualification carries forward across other companies they hold.
CKYC
Central KYC Records Registry - covers individual KYC well, business KYC partially. Infyner Verify fills the corporate gap.
MSME Samadhaan
The Government of India portal where MSMEs can register payment-delay disputes against larger buyers. A buyer's record on Samadhaan is a useful early signal.
